Woke this morning to more weather. Rain this time, freezing rain actually. So uninviting to sit and look out at those icy drops coming down. Made better with a cup of hot coffee.
A cup of hot coffee and a quiet studio, just me and the cat. Time to work on some of my own art journals that have been so long neglected and dusty. And a little time to spend on this year's stitch sampler.
I even made you a coffee and rain playlist, if you're like me and fit your music to your mood. It's a good morning. Good and slow and I guess you'd say methodical.
Coffee & quiet creative time sounds good:) And the playlist is just right; I do the same thing...pick music to suit my mood!

Oh how I wish I could send you all some of our warmth and sunshiny days!!
When our winter comes again I shall think of this beautiful post and play my fave music, enjoy my coffee and relish the "being still" time that only winter can give us.
Your journal and sampler are lovely Rebecca,
hugs

Rebecca, love this post. We've been having freezing rain, too. Where are you? In the south? You said "woke to more weather." that is usually a southern saying...
we need to see the kittrs cat, too.
