thank you so much for saying this about words! i love them as well and knowing that you use them so beautifully in your art inspires me to do the same!

Good words do make a difference. You see it when a person smiles back at you. You read it when a person let's you know that your kind words helped them or made them happy.

i agree about the power of words... jewelry and art created with them seem to transcend the medium... they are portable visual affirmations...

It was fun looking at some of your past projects!

Love words...and I always love your work:)

You inspire me with your words, and your actions. Actions speak louder than words, and through your actions many are blessed. I wonder how you have the time to get "it all" done. Mom, artist, give service to others, wife, house, yard, pets, kids, Haitibyhand, photography, sewing, cook, clean, etc. You are an inspiration to many of us. And your "words" lift us. Thanks for being who you are. Thanks for sharing yourself with us.

I agree. Words are so much more important than we know. And your work speaks volumnes!
Love it!
(& I'm also thrilled that you're making more bags! I wasn't quick enough on the last ones...LOL ;)

Hello Rebecca;
I always think the word "Grace" is how I see you reflecteded in your blog. It is a beautiful place to come for a visit.

These are all so beautiful! Going over my old work is something I do constantly- I have a habit of wandering from the path very easily, and it can be some time of wandering along and then gradually noting how hard it is to 'carve my way', and eventually I'll realise I'm far from where I want to be. Going over my old work helps me re-connect with what I want to do. Sometimes I think art is just as much about solving an inner puzzle than gathering outside ideas.

thank you for showing us these lovely lovely pieces

I absolutely love how you incorporate words into your art. Always so special and meaningful. Very very powerful. Thank you so much for all the inspiration.

Rebecca - your work blows me away. I've mentioned this before but somehow your work just touches me in a special way - it inspires and moves me and makes me want to be a better artist Great job on the Haiti work -- I was so happy and proud to have contributed with my mini book following Julie Collings' contribution.!
