For weeks I have been in front of this computer screen. I knew at some point I would get back into my studio and get busy. I longed for that.
So when I finally did, I went a little crazy. I got a sudden burst of energy (don't you love when that happens?) and started cleaning like a mad woman.
For a while I've been wanting to open my own little 'thrift shop' on etsy. And decided that my studio sweep was just what I needed to get that ball rolling.
Announcing Rebecca's Thrift Shop (not so creative on the naming of it am I?). Where I will put found treasures and items from my home and studio. Each one loved for a while by me, but ones I hope you'll find a new use for.
This way, I'll be able to keep my handcrafted-by-me shop open and separate. That makes better sense to me. And I know that one's empty. I will work on that too. Well, that's what I'd most love to do right now.
Happy Monday! So glad you came by.
PS...If you'd like to join a groups of creative gals who are taking on an "Artistic Motherhood" challenge, stop by Trudy's blog. What a fun nudge to get your creative juices flowing!
Rebecca, Thanks so much for the shout out. You're the best.

Your thrift shop is truly wonderful ~ can't wait to go shopping after work today! I picked up the book you are talking about at the bookstore the other night, peruse through the fabulous photos and projects, I almost purchased it, but then got Ruth Rae's new book instead. It was a hard choice as both are so gorgeous and inspiring! Wishing you many blessings for the best week! Katie
