Was flipping through an old magazine this morning and saw these words...
"every step you take
is a step away
from where you used to be"
And so I'm thinking a step away from where I used to be could be good or it could be bad.
My faith, my family, my friends, my future, my legacy, my thoughts, my health, my time, my commitments...can all benefit from my conscious decision to make each step better, more purposeful and true. It's all about choosing to do so, huh?
May your day be a beautiful step forward.
Rebecca,
Thank you for these great words to remember!
May we all step towarrds better!

Seems like there are many of us on the same quest...Ali mentioned it when she spoke of 'living with intention'...living a purposeful life, being conscious of how everyday decisions play into he big scheme of things...what they add or what they take away.
nice post!

That's just what I needed to hear. I took a step - no, a huge leap - into the world of teaching classes at a paper arts store. I'm a bit overwhelmed right now trying to quickly get 5 projects ready for summer classes. I know that this step will be so fulfilling for me personally, and my family is so supportive. I need to have faith in my abilities and experience...thanks for the boost!

Your photos are always so beautiful. And you have such a thoughtful, kind way of expressing ideas that can be really hard to work through. Love that you are willing to share the challenges and food for thought along with all the inspiration.

I really love that quote. I wrote it down in my brick and morter journal. It caused me to think about where I want to be and then it made me think about what I needed to do to move forward. It's like an ah ha moment! Thank you! Cassie
