i too read Beth Moore.
Feathers from my Nest is one of my favorite tear-stained books. It makes me realize how fast my little fledgings( okay, so my oldest is 24) will soon be leaving. And yes, he's out, but not yet starting his own life.A late bloomer, shall we say. But, my second will soon be married and time keeps ticking away.
I enjoy reading your blog because your sincerity rings true and i find comfort in that. As a stay at home mom with a large brood, i battle depression. I don't know why, i just do.
And for whatever reason, i find comfort in your words or thoughts for the day.
Please continue on, and know one of your readers is blessed.
sincerely, marilyn

I've been disconnecting too...it must be in the air. It's doing me a world of good. And if I won your necklace, well, it would be even better! Thank you for your good words.

I check in most days. Even if you haven't posted anything, I love to go through your galleries. I find your work touches a tender spot in my heart and sets me up for good feelings for the day. I love the necklace you made. My mind is spinning with ideas and a mental inventory of the bits and pieces I have. Any chance of seeing something like this in Somerset Life?

Tamara

this quote came along at just the right time. patience is something I am trying so hard to have right now. waiting for my dad to have tests done and results coming in and just waiting, waiting, waiting. all the while trying to figure out what I am going to learn from all this or what it is trying to remind me of. hmmmm....patience?

You probably don't remember me, but we met at CKU Masters 2004 in Nashville. I was lucky to get into your class. Your little daugther was helping you, passing around LOs for all to see. You gave all of us a tablet/notebook for jounaling. I still have it. CKU was fabulous - thanks for the memories, Rebecca!

Oh, I do hope you meant noon pacific time!
I just love your work and your quiet, reflective spirit; it shows in what you write and what you create. I love the words of wisdom you gather to pass along to us, your readers. I admire your decision to unplug to get back to some of the enjoyment that can only be found doing things the way our grandmothers did. And the blessing is always gaining a new appreciation for what we almost missed...
