This will likely be my last craft idea for the holidays. Time to start shutting things down and snuggling in with family for Christmas. But this has been such fun. Oh and doubly fun was visiting the blogs of those of you who posted photos of your holiday home. It felt like getting to drop in and chat with friends over coffee. Thanks for sharing.
I call these my little 'wire sprays'. You can use any sort of item on these (buttons, beads, trinkets). Play around and see what you come up with. They're easy, quick and versatile. Here I've put them on a wrapped gift and a gift card holder, but you can use them for anything at all.
Here are the step-by-steps:
And a touching Christmas poem by W. C. Jones...
"The joy of brightening other lives,
bearing each others' burdens,
easing others' loads
and supplanting empty hearts and lives with generous gifts
becomes for us the magic of Christmas."
And remember, Christmas gifts don't always come with "packages, boxes and bows" . . . that's what Mr. Grinch says anyway :)
i'll have to try those. they look easy enough for even the craft-challenged like me. have a merry christmas!!

Thanks for sharing the pics on how to make the little wire sprays. I was just going through a huge bin of misc. beads, charms, doll shoes, shells, etc. from my littles (getting ready to ship to ARtFest)...Some are hard to part with! This was the perfect solution to recycling those more sentimemtal tiny bits...and keeping them in the family.
Happy Holidays!
