or maybe I should say 'borrowed'....
Couldn't resist sharing with you a precious little snow fella idea over on Sandra Evertson's blog today. Great step-by-step instructions and so easy and fun to do. She has a lot of other nice holiday decorating suggestions and ideas if you haven't already visited her.
(am I cheating?)
No photo today, that feels weird too. But here's a familiar Christmas poem by John Greenleaf Whittier...
Somehow not only for Christmas
but all the long year through,
the joy that you give to others
is the joy that comes back to you.
and the more you spend in blessing
the poor and lonely and sad,
the more of your heart's possessing
returns to make you glad.
What a lovely sentiment! A nice reminder for anyone who might be feeling a bit "Scrooge-like" during the holiday hustle & bustle.

Thank you...everything has been so inspiring! I have always loved your work...even from before the little cut out kits you used to make! Back to when I first met you at Croptoberfest! Blessings!

What a wonderful little poem. I hadn't heard of it before now. Think I'll print it out and frame it.

I was delighted to see the Christmas angels made by your grandmother. I have the exact one made by my grandmother. Of course they are painted differently than mine. Must have been a popular ceramin mold. My grandmother signed hers and it has the year 1967 on the back.
