...is when your husband of 20 years (!) actually remembers your anniversary, brings home lots of flowers and just in case those weren't enough, orders you 8 heirloom rose plants from one of your favorite antique rose places. No chocolate or diamonds for me...just give me flowers.
...is when you give your bored 9-year-old son your camera and tell him to go take some photos...and he returns with 5 blurry dog shots and 17 shots of hockey pucks {does that make you laugh like it does me?}
...is when you finally steal a moment to peruse over the fun things you found on your antiquing trip from 4 days ago...like finding them all over again.
...and when you read over (once again) the comments on your blog left by the dearest people ever.
[btw, here's the address for subscribing to the coming-soon Victoria magazine. I subscribed yesterday...www.victoriamag.com]

I love the comment about your son! That is something our Charlie would do!!! He loves hockey... He is only 5 years old and has the FisherPrice kids camera and we came home one night after they had a sitter. He had 3 pictures of the sitter on the phone but about 50 of the hockey nets she set up to make a rink in the very small kitchen. The pucks slide across the kitchen floor the best in the whole house. hee hee hee

How sweet! Happy Anniversary! Isn't it great when they know what you love and fill your life with it? By the way, I gave my 8 yr. old son my camera once and have *the greatest* self-portraits he took of himself. Hysterical, those boys are!!

Heirloom Garden Roses is my favorite place to order from too. I'm lucky enough to live in Oregon and plan a trip up to view the gardens soon. What ones did you get?
Happy Anniversay! love to read your blog.

Love reading your blog. I will HAVE to go visit that antiquing spot. Looks divine. And is this Victoria (looks to be) the same as the older one that died out a few years ago? I just threw away my stash of them when I moved...had to part with the clutter, but hated to rid of them since they were no longer around. If so, I'm all over it! :) Thanks for sharing that link!

That is my favorite place to buy roses. I just got the "Frederick Mistral" and if you have never heard of "Joseph's Coat" then you are soooo missing out! That is the most beautiful rose ever, just like the story of Joseph and his coat! Happy Anniversary!

Happy Anniversary! I consider your blog "chicken soup for the soul". I love being inspired by pictures, thoughts, experiences. SO glad I found you online. I have always loved your work. My son has taken some very "window to his mind" pictures too with his fisher price digital camera.
