One of my favorite days of the holiday season was spent with 5 fun teens and 1 favorite 9-year-old. A group from our church went to Nashville to feed the homeless, then to McCabe's pub to eat. Then to kill time before the ice-skating rink opened, I took the kids (and my new camera) downtown. So here's Madeline in a western wear store and Elvis disguised as Luke.
On another note...I'm working on a studio redo. Many have requested that I put photos of my studio on my blog and it's so yucky now that I'm a little embarrassed to do that. I've been so busy actually using it for it's intended purpose that I have neglected to maintain it as a place that inspires me. Will try to get right on that, but you know how life goes. Stay tuned...because when I clean and regroup I love to give things away!
Hope all of you are having a non-stressed holiday season. Happy 2007!
glad to see that you made it through the holidays...happy new year!

I can't imagine a scrap room re-do! The last space was GORGEOUS!!! But... considering my space is always evolving... I understnd the "need" to re-do. I look forward to seeing the new space!

you must show us the before and after. it makes us feel normal. tee hee!
i faintly remember seeing a couple of pics of your studio space & it was so warm & inviting. Like being in grandma's attic. (although my own granny never had any such thing.)
Funny how a little cleaning out can cleanse the soul & a whole new outlook comes in.
Also funny how a few new goodies will do the same thing... hint hint, wink wink...

Awesome pictures. Is your new banner picture taken on your land -- it's beautiful!
Quick question -- the christmas cards you made -- did you start with blank cards or did you start from scratch? If you started from scratch, where do you find the perfect fitting envelopes?
Happy New Year! And happy cleaning. -- Tricia

Great pics! What did you use to get the cool rough edged look in both of them (guessing it's a photoshop brush, but curious which :).
