That pretty much sums up my life these days, but not necessarily in that order. My two youngest kids and I walked to the pumpkin patch on Sunday afternoon. The weather was at its blue-sky best. Walking back I told the kids 'remember this moment...life is very, very good'. Around here, going to the pumpkin patch doesn't mean handing over $5 and choosing a pumpkin (although that's fun too). Here, the farmhand comes by and says 'the pumpkins are ready in that back field and pick you some beans if you want'. See, I told you life is good.
Here's a shot of an unfinished piece I'm working on for my oldest daughter, Madeline, who's now 15 years old. I'll post a photo of the finished piece when it's done (whatever decade that happens to be). I put a couple of new pieces in my 'Creations' album if you'd like to check them out.
I love every one of you pumpkin heads--hope life is good for you!
