Update: Diaries are all sold but I am planning to list more this weekend. Thanks so much for your interest!
Like many of you I've been a keeper of quotes for a very long time. I have little journals here and there where I tuck quotes to be written in at a later date. I'm hoping to make this a summer project once and for all.
I've made a few of my journals that I call the 'quote keeper's diary' and listed them in my shop in the event you need a new place to gather all your quotes too. I think it'll make a really neat little heirloom book to leave for those who come behind us. Words carry such power and inspiration don't they?.
Also, since most of my spring and summer is spent unplugged from this computer my posts will once again be a quick photo (and a quote too!). I'll call it the 'Quote Keeper's Summer Series' and will plan to start that next week.
It'll be fun. Do you have a favorite quote to share?

Sounds like a great plan; looking forward to the quotes. I have lots (like most people I spose), but this is my current fave from Dr. Suess: "You're off to great places. Today is your day. Your mountain is waiting so get on your way."

Hi Rebecca. I love these new journals. Your Etsy sho doesn't ship to Canada. Is there a possibility of getting one of these somehow?

Your journals are beautiful! I, too, collect quotes and have many favorites. How about this one...

I collect quotes, too. So many of them, here and there in my journals. It's fun to go back and read them.
One of my favourite quotes is by Ellis Peters, who writes the Brother Cadfael mysteries: "He prayed as he breathed, forming no words and making no specific requests, only holding in his heart, like broken birds in cupped hands, all those people who were in stress or grief."

Rebecca, ive collected quotes off and on over the years. I've only recently started journalling them. Sort of a beginner art journal. I've been known to come visit your quotes for inspiration. Looking forward to your series.

Oh yes, I covet quotes. I have several files on my computer with saved quotes, a cardboard section file, and two files on Pinterest. I collect the the way people collect thimbles or tea pots.

Your quote journals are so pretty. I had so many on scraps of paper here and there, so one day I decided to start my own little blog to keep and organize them. I call it, Just a Thought. (http://morequotesilike.blogspot.com/) More recently I've been collecting them on Pinterest as well.
Have a great summer! I'll look forward to seeing your quotes here.

Favorite quote: "I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day.". E.B. White.
I resemble that remark!! ;)

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune without the words,
And never stops at all,
And sweetest in the gale is heard;
And sore must be the storm
That could abash the little bird
That kept so many warm.
I've heard it in the chillest land
And on the strangest sea;
Yet, never, in extremity,
It asked a crumb of me.
~Emily Dickinson
I love quotes. Look forward to seeing your favorites.
