Does it make me a nerd if those two words are among my favorites in the English language? I venture out into all sorts of creative materials now and then, and love them all, but I always end up back here. Stitching by hand...
I've been working on this design (getting ready for Spring perhaps?) and have listed it in my shop. This one I stitched into a pillow, perfect for the front porch. The design is pre-printed on fabric this time, all ready to go. For this next one I'm going to use vivid Summer colors...a book bag maybe? The center of a picnic quilt?...
If you order one, you will also receive the same design printed on paper too, that you can transfer to other materials. I'm working on some of the flowers individually that will be made into little linen sachet bags, pinkeeps and such. As they say, the possibilities are endless.
Much love to you on this warm and stormy Wednesday (that's my radar anyway, great stitching weather).

I love this pattern! And it looks so cute in the pillow. May just need to go shopping!

Definitely not a nerd. Most certainly a talented artist! Beautiful flowers!

You are so not a nerd! I wish I could make "magic" with a needle & thread the way you do:)

So pretty. I love all the squares. I've picked up my embroidery again recently. Such a fun way to spend a few hours.

I just went to your Etsy shop and I don't see it. Am I doing something wrong?

This is lovely! Found it today browsing Etsy for embroidery patterns and purchase it right away... can't wait! I really like the fact that you include the pre-printed pattern with instructions plus the printed paper pattern for future use. Very practical!

I love your needlework. I grew up in a family of women who did amazing things with needle and thread - this makes me feel right at home.

I have started sewing on the flower pattern that I purchased. I love the linen and am having a great time. I'm doing one in similar colors to your choices and I already know I will do it again with different colors. I'm having way too much fun to bother with a "day job". Ha! Thanks for a great project.

I just purchased this, and I'm super excited to learn how to embroider. Most of the learner kits are old fashioned in a way that's not me. This printed pattern has a touch of old fashioned feel in a very modern retro look. I'm sad that I won't get to the store to buy the needle and hoop and thread until the weekend, but it's going to be so much fun picking out the colors for this. That's one of the things I like about it - it's a really nice quality pre-printed item, it looks doable instead of scary-big, and I get to pick out my favorite colors for it!
I'm going to keep an eye on your shop so that I can keep up with other items that you put up for sale :-)
