With only a few days remaining until Thanksgiving, I thought I might stick to a gratitude theme for the next few posts, maybe with some autumn compositions from nature and some words to ponder...
"Given the amount of unjust suffering and unhappiness in the world,
I am deeply grateful for,
sometimes even perplexed by,
how much misery I have been spared."

NOTE: Congratulations to Carolyn for being chosen as the winner of Amy's "Vintage Notions" book! Carolyn, your book is on its way. Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway.

I listen to Dennis Prager almost every single day, and have seen him speak on several occassions. I think he is one of the wisest, clearest thinkers in the whole world.
Thanks for sharing!!

Isn't that the truth! That's why I sing, "Great is Thy Faithfulness".

I, too, am working on my attitude of gratitude!
It may have been up for awhile, but I love the new banner!
Hugs, Cheryl

I love your photo and the quote. How easily forget how good we have it.

Nice banner. I do like the quote. One of the things on my gratitude list is being grateful for not sleeping in a car or that my worldly possessions are contained in a shopping cart.

What beautiful, thought-provoking words! Sometimes, we tend to "forget" how really good we have it:)

Amen to this! Another one to jot down in my quote keepers' journal. Thank you for doing this Rebecca.
