Thank you for allowing my Haiti efforts to take over my blog these past few days. I have received so much positive and encouraging and comforting words from each of you. My heart is humbled at your beautiful, caring hearts and willingness to help with this effort going forward.
You have offered assistance in so many ways. And there are many ways we can continue to reach out.
I would like to take this opportunity to announce the brand new HAITI BY HAND blog. This is something I had planned to do at some point anyway, but felt sooner might be better than later.
I hope you will subscribe to the feed on HAITI BY HAND so you'll be notified with updates and news.
And then I will plan to get back to my 'regularly scheduled programming' here on my personal/art blog.
Again, thank you! for all your prayers and thoughts and money and support...you are golden!

I can not seem to get to the Haiti etsy shop fast enough to get a pin or soap...I hope there is more..I want them so badly....blessing to you...you are a wonderful beautiful person.

Wow! - God is faithful. Just a little goes a long way in Haiti. My daughter (18 yrs.) went to Haiti on a missions trip the first week in Jan. and arrived home the Sat. evening before the earthquake. She then went to back to her college the next morning. How I need to give her a hug. (she's 8 hours away from me). What must be going through her heart and mind right now, only the Lord knows. Her friend, who stayed behind in Haiti, lived through the quake. She is safe and finally made it home on a military flight through the US embassy. She spoke at our church last night about her experience. No one left there dry eyed! Thank God for his protection! Pray for the people of Haiti!!

I love this. I hope you can bring more products to the shop. How can I help? I want the carrot soap - and the heart applique. So precious. I love the idea of helping them with their economy by encouraging their industries rather than just giving them dollars.
