...to attend one of my upcoming workshops. In fact, I would be honored to have you. Here's a bit more about what, when and where I'll be teaching this fall.
OCTOBER 10-12 at the PAPER & CO. SHOW in Versailles, France.
and of course at the magical...
SILVER BELLA held November 13-15 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Here's a peek at the projects I'd love to share with you...
The Woman Album (France only): A small-but-chunky handcrafted boardbook album that celebrates everything "femme". Each page a unique tribute to the qualities of womanhood.
The Prayer of St. Francis Art Canvas (Omaha only): Because I believe art should be meaningful and this one is oh-so-meaningful. You know how I love this prayer. We'll be painting, stitching, detailing and handworking on this 6x12 piece that will be ready to frame or hang. Just the kind of workshop you love, chock-full of supplies and techniques (and getting a wee bit messy).
Ancestor Art Wall Plaque (France only): Faces from the past to grace your walls. A tile-style art piece with vintage trinkets and linen and even silk. Finished size is 8x10".
Textile Art to Wear (Omaha and France): You'll be provided with lots of materials and lots of freedom to create wrist cuffs, chokers or even a belt. This class is true workshop-style where you will be shown a big selection of samples, have several techniques demonstrated and plenty of one-on-one instruction. You will be able to work at your own pace where you can keep your pieces as simple or as detailed as you'd like. (hint: this is my favorite class!).
I have no idea if these events and/or workshops are sold out (please check event websites). But I do know I would love to meet you and spend a couple of hours creating something beautiful together.
Hope each of you are having an exciting but relaxing summer!

Oh to be in France taking one of these fabulous classes, but alas I will see you in Omaha, taking your Prayer of St. Francis collage class in November!

ooh how did I miss this post! Online workshops would be good for those of us that live down under. I probably don't need help with technique but it does help me finish something.
My studio is a happy mess and I promised myself I would work on finishing my angel mosaic which makes me want to do everything but.
I have 3.5 hrs left without kids and I am looking at my housework and my studio is calling and I wouldn't mind a nana nap.
love deb
