you can make pies with them, carve them, craft with them...or as i sometimes do, just smile at them because that pumpkin-orange color makes me happy.
Martha loves pumpkins too...here she showcases 15 years worth of pumpkin ideas (including those splendid glittered pumpkins that are so martha-ish). Country Living magazine shows us how to craft a basket from a pumpkin in this month's issue...perfect for fall flowers. Here, I used rub-ons and stick-on rhinestones...easy breezy.
You love pumpkins, i love pumpkins...we all love pumpkins.
Hope your weekend is pumpkin-perfect.

Great idea - love the rub-ons and bling. It's funny how a simple thing like a pumpkin can create such a feeling of satisfaction in the fall. On my porch, on my mantle, in the dining room...

those are lovely, what a fun way to embellish them. I agree with Kimber-leigh, I am not one for Halloween decorations, but I love decorating for fall. Thanks for sharing.

Just this week I was wondering if rub-ons would work on my pumpkins. Yours look beautiful. I will have to try it.

Wow... I love the rub-on idea for pumpkins. I may go buy some just to decorate so I can give them away.

I'm filled with anticipation; I get to decorate 35 pumpkins for Beverly Hills High's teacher's luncheon (thought about glitter, but now with those rub-ons...?)
Mind whirling!
love.

In Australia we also love to eat pumpkins as part of a baked dinner. Pumpkin soup is also delicious, as is steamed pumpkin & then mashed or left as is...
